1. Introduction

This service ("the Service") is provided by Accretions. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Service.

2. Subscription & Payments

The Service is offered on a subscription basis.

All subscription payments are strictly non-refundable, regardless of usage, billing cycle, or cancellation timing.

Users may cancel their subscription at any time via the "Manage Subscription" button located under Settings → Billing.

Cancellation prevents future charges but does not entitle the user to a refund for prior payments.

If you experience a billing issue, discrepancy, or technical problem, please contact [email protected] with the email associated with your account and a description of the issue.

3. Acceptable Use & Abuse of the Service

Users agree not to engage in any actions that constitute abuse of the Service. Abuse includes, but is not limited to:

Sending automated requests, traffic, or commands to internal or third-party middleware APIs in a manner not supported or intended by the product.

Attempting to exploit bugs, vulnerabilities, or unintended behaviours in the Service or underlying systems.

Overloading, attacking, or attempting to disrupt the Service, including via DDoS, excessive traffic, or resource exhaustion.

Any activity that interferes with the stability, performance, or integrity of the Service or its infrastructure.

Accretions reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in abusive behaviour.

4. AI-Generated Content

The Service makes use of third-party AI models. Users understand and agree that:

AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for certain purposes.

Users are solely responsible for verifying any output before relying on it.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Accretions provides the Service "as-is" and without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Accretions is not liable for any loss, damage, or consequences—direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential—arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service.

Users assume all responsibility for their use of the Service, including decisions made based on content generated or displayed by the platform.

6. Service Availability & Termination

Accretions may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including shutting down the platform entirely. In the event the Service is discontinued, users with active subscriptions—including lifetime or one-time-purchase plans—are not entitled to refunds, pro-rated or otherwise.

"Lifetime" or "one-time" purchases refer to access for the operational lifetime of the Service, not for the lifetime of the purchaser.

Accretions may, at its discretion, provide data export tools before discontinuation but is not obligated to provide alternative services, hosting, or source code.

7. Modifications

Accretions may update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Your ideas are yours. We will never sell them or use them for analytics or model-training purposes.

This Privacy Policy explains how Accretions ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described below.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only the minimum data required to operate the Service:

Account Information

• Email address
• Auth0 authentication data
• Stripe subscription data

User-Generated Content

Ideas, notes, opportunity data, rankings, and related inputs created by the user within the platform.

Technical Data

• IP address (for security and abuse-prevention)
• Browser, device type, and general diagnostic logs
• Error logs, API request metadata, and performance metrics

3. How Your Data Is Used

We use your data only for the purposes of:

• Providing and improving the functionality of the Service
• Delivering AI-enabled features based on your explicit input
• Maintaining account functionality, subscriptions, and billing workflows
• Preventing abuse, detecting security issues, and ensuring platform reliability
• Responding to support requests
• Meeting legal or regulatory obligations (when required)

4. What We Do Not Do

We do not sell, rent, trade, or transfer your personal data or your ideas to third parties.

We do not use your ideas or content to train machine-learning models.

We do not use your content for internal analytics beyond functional metrics necessary for operating the platform.

We do not access your ideas unless:

• you explicitly request support that requires it, or
• access is necessary to investigate abuse or security issues.

5. Third-Party Services

The Service may use integrated third-party providers (e.g., authentication, billing, AI model providers). These services receive only the data required to perform their functions, such as:

• Stripe for payment processing
• Auth0 (or equivalent) for login and credential handling
• AI model providers for generating content only from your submitted inputs. These providers are not permitted to use your data for any purpose other than generating responses.

We do not grant third parties access to your ideas for any purpose beyond fulfilling your request.

6. Data Retention

We retain user account data for as long as your account is active.

Upon deletion of your account:

All user data, including ideas, projects, and private workspace content, will be permanently deleted within 5 business days.

Some system logs (such as IPs, error logs, and server-level diagnostics) may persist temporarily due to standard log rotation and security policies, but are automatically purged on their normal schedule and are not linked back to your deleted content.

7. Account Deletion

Users may request deletion of their account at any time by emailing [email protected] from the email associated with their account.

Requests will be processed promptly, and all user data will be removed within 5 business days.

8. Data Security

We take security seriously and implement industry-standard safeguards, including encryption at rest and in transit, secure key management, isolated execution of AI requests, and automated monitoring for abuse or intrusion attempts.

No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we maintain best-practice controls to protect your data.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Users will be notified of material changes, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
